These baskets are the result of years of practice, tremendous technical skill and quality assurance. The weavers from Bolgatanga, Ghana spend countless hours stripping and dyeing elephant grass fibres into patterns and colourways that are unique.
The basket is biodegradable and resilient but will fade if left in the sun too long.
The Oval basket on the left in the photo is 22 cm tall to the top of the rim and the opening is 40 cm x 29 cm.. The mini round basket is 12 cm tall to the top of the rim and the opening is approximately 17 cm across the diameter. The round basket on the right side of the photo is 18 cm tall to the top of the rim and 14 cm tall in the middle and the opening is approximately 27 cm across the diameter. The handles are all leather wrapped for comfort.

Shipping costs are listed for each item on our website. If you are purchasing more than one item and we are able to ship them together more efficiently, we will refund the difference. We are really nice people, so we will do whatever we can to keep those costs as low as possible and we will send you a refund if we can.
If you would like to pick up your package in Nanaimo, B.C, select the "PICK UP " option and there will not be any shipping fees charged
