Langtang Designs is a community driven project with a mission to empower women with hope through the skill set of jewelry making. Every piece of jewelry sold enables the women of Langtang to receive a fair income for their families while reflecting the beauty and creativity of their culture to the world.

Langtang Designs began in the aftermath of the 2015 earthquake. At the time, many of the people from the Himalayan mountain valley were living in temporary shelters and looking for a way to rebuild their houses and livelihoods. Langtang Designs provided them with an outlet to recover and to champion their Tibetan culture.

SHIPPING:
Global Village Nanaimo uses Canada Post for shipping, unless special arrangements are made. Our shipping rates are effective for anywhere in Canada.

Shipping costs are listed for each item on our website. If you are purchasing more than one item and we are able to ship them together more efficiently, we will refund the difference. We are really nice people, so we will do whatever we can to keep those costs as low as possible and we will send you a refund if we can.

If you would like to pick up your package in Nanaimo, B.C, select the "PICK UP " option and there will not be any shipping fees charged
