These baskets are the result of years of practice, tremendous technical skill and quality assurance. The weavers from Bolgatanga, Ghana spend countless hours stripping and dyeing elephant grass fibres into patterns and colourways that are unique.
The basket is biodegradable and resilient but will fade if left in the sun too long.
The mini Nyariga basket is ideal for many things, including Easter treats and “Mommy and Me” pairings with larger baskets. The mini basket is approximately 20 cm tall to the top of the rim on the side and 16 cm to the top of the rim in the middle. The opening is approximately 18 cm x 16 cm.
The medium sized round basket is approximately 19 cm to the top of the rim and 31 cm across the opening.
The handles are all leather wrapped for comfort.

Shipping costs are listed for each item on our website. If you are purchasing more than one item and we are able to ship them together more efficiently, we will refund the difference. We are really nice people, so we will do whatever we can to keep those costs as low as possible and we will send you a refund if we can.
If you would like to pick up your package in Nanaimo, B.C, select the "PICK UP " option and there will not be any shipping fees charged
